Start Here

Before hunting any cipher, you must first trigger the David Savage radio message. Radios are random — you may find the right one on your first try or your sixth. Listen for the press conference news story about David Savage and his hidden treasure.

Step-by-Step Billionaire's Treasure Walkthrough

The main egg is a chain: each completed cipher activates the next one. Follow this order carefully, because ciphers will not appear until the previous step is done.

1

Find the David Savage Radio

Search radios around the map until you hear the news story about David Savage's press conference and hidden treasure. Radio spawns are random. This unlocks the radio egg rewards and activates Cipher 1.

2

Read the Rooftop Clock Cipher

Aim down sights at the clock on the left side of the Inferno Room rooftop. It only appears after the radio step. When translated, it hints: "the treasure is hidden somewhere in the city's garbage."

3

Search All 12 Trash Cans

Interact with 12 trash cans in the subways: five in the Bang Bang's subway and seven in the spawn subway. Each successful can produces a rummaging sound. The twelfth can unlocks Cipher 2.

4

Ciphers 2 Through 5

Cipher 2: the blue dumpster in the alley outside Heebie Jeebies. Cipher 3: the stop sign in the alley next to Racing Stripes, left of the electric trap bridge coming from the dojo. Cipher 4: next to the ceiling light fixture on the blocked stairs near the Blue Room in the Inferno Room lobby. Cipher 5: behind the gate on the right in the spawn subway ticketing area — its hidden letters spell "midnight."

5

Grab the Midnight Cipher

Cipher 6 only appears between midnight and 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time — conveniently shown on the Inferno Room rooftop clock. Find it on the wall between the pipes to the left of Tough Enough. Its hidden letters spell "June 6th."

6

Claim the Final Cipher

Cipher 7 sits on the back cushion of the Rat King's throne. Completing it grants 10,000 XP and the "Troll Tactic" calling card, plus David Savage's final congratulatory message.

Do Not Change Your Clock

If you go offline and manually change your system time to skip the midnight cipher, the game replaces the cipher with a taunting message claiming you are banned from the treasure. You are not actually banned — it is a troll message — but it wastes your time either way.

Cipher Location Table

Every cipher in one place. Aim down sights at each target to read it; translations were compiled by the community shortly after release.

Save State System

Every step of this egg has a save state. You can start a new game, join a different match, or fully power off your console or PC — you will resume on whichever step you left off. This makes the hunt far less punishing than most Zombies eggs.

Radio Egg & Side Secrets

The radio hunt is its own reward track, separate from the cipher chain. There are 17 possible radio locations across the map, and the correct David Savage message spawns randomly among them.

Radio Egg Rewards

  • "Beat of the Drum" achievement
  • Unlocks pre-game lobby song
  • Required before Cipher 1 appears

Anti-Cheat Troll Egg

  • Hidden message inside the egg
  • Triggers on manual clock changes
  • Fake "permanent ban" warning

Community Hunt Egg

  • Hidden "June 6th" date clue
  • Coordinated the global final cipher unlock
  • Let all platforms join the hunt together
Co-op Note

Even in a co-op game, the Billionaire's Treasure is not a team effort. Each player must personally complete every step — finding the radio, all trash cans, and all seven ciphers — to receive the rewards.

Egg Hunt Checklist

Work through this checklist to fully clear the map's secrets in a single session or across several thanks to the save state system.

Shaolin Shuffle Egg Completion:

  • Hear the David Savage radio news story
  • Read Cipher 1 on the Inferno Room rooftop clock
  • Rummage through all 12 subway trash cans
  • Complete Ciphers 2 through 5
  • Return between 12:00 and 1:00 a.m. ET for the midnight cipher
  • Read the final cipher on the Rat King's throne

FAQ

Q: What is included in the Shuffle an Egg egg list for Shaolin Shuffle?

The list covers the David Savage radio Easter egg (17 possible radio locations), the seven-cipher Billionaire's Treasure main egg, the 12 trash can search step, the timed midnight cipher, and the hidden time-manipulation troll message.

Q: Do I lose progress if I quit mid-egg?

No. Every step of the Billionaire's Treasure egg has a save state. You can start a new game, switch matches, or shut off your console or PC entirely, and you will resume on the step you left off.

Q: Can my teammates complete the egg for me in co-op?

No. Each player must complete every step individually, even in a shared co-op match. Finding the radio, all trash cans, and all seven ciphers is a solo effort per player.

Q: What happens if I change my system clock to get the midnight cipher?

The cipher will display a taunting message claiming you are permanently banned from the treasure. This is only a troll message and does not actually ban you, but you still need to wait for the real midnight window (12:00 to 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time) to read the cipher.

Q: What rewards do I get for finishing the Billionaire's Treasure egg?

Completing the final cipher grants 10,000 XP and the 'Troll Tactic' calling card, along with David Savage's final translated congratulatory message revealing his 'greatest treasure.'
